Newsroom 2025 Women+ Students in STEM Bursary

Primary is proud to announce the launch of the 2025 Women+ Bursary, an initiative aimed at supporting individuals who identify as Women+ in pursuing post-secondary education and careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or skilled trades across Canada.

The program will award five bursaries of $2,000 each, helping recipients overcome financial barriers and further their academic and professional goals. In alignment with Primary’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and community empowerment, the bursary is designed to promote diversity in traditionally underrepresented fields.

“We believe that innovation thrives when everyone has a seat at the table,” said Andrea Addo, Manager, Utility Design Ontario at Primary. “The Women+ Bursary is about opening doors and creating opportunities for women+ in engineering and skilled trades.”
