Wilden 2D Subdivision, Kelowna, BC
Wilden Phase 2D is a two kilometer stretch of road with 74 single family lots and two future multi-family sites. Primary was responsible for the area electrical plan and utility rebate coordination with FortisBC. From there, Primary went on to design and build the primary and secondary electrical and street lighting infrastructure within FortisBC’s turnkey process. The Telus, Shaw and FortisBC gas designs and utility quote letters were also coordinated by Primary. Primary was key in leading a four party trench initiative (Single trench for power, Telus, Shaw, gas) which reduced installation costs and coordination efforts and created a more consistent and safer installation. Primary coordinated and inspected the shallow utility civil construction on behalf of the developer for all four utilities. Wilden Phase 2D electrical infrastructure was commissioned in November 2012.
